BAUWN Reclaimed Wood
Reclaimed wood with a story already written.
Selected reclaimed timber prepared for contemporary interiors while preserving the grain, markings and natural variation created over time.

Material story
Material shaped by time
Long before it enters the BAUWN workshop, reclaimed wood has already lived another life. Time, use and exposure leave behind variations in colour, grain and texture that cannot be manufactured.
BAUWN selects and prepares each batch for a new purpose. The material is retained in its Natural Grey character or carefully brushed and finished in selected colours. It is not treated with fire - this is a separate collection from our charred timber range.
Two finishes
Natural Grey and Brushed Colour

Natural Grey
Reclaimed · Aged surface
The naturally aged surface is retained to preserve its grey tones, weathered grain and individual markings.

Brushed Colour
Reclaimed · Brushed and finished
The timber is carefully brushed to reveal the grain before being finished in a selected colour.

Both surfaces, in full detail
Each surface has its own product page with dimensions, profiles, gallery and completed interiors.

Reclaimed Natural Grey
Reclaimed timber retaining its original, naturally weathered grey surface and patina. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away: the silver-grey you see is decades of sun, rain and wind on the same board.

Reclaimed Brushed Natural
Reclaimed timber mechanically brushed to remove the weathered surface and reveal its warm, naturally brown colour. It is not charred, not stained, not treated with colourants and not chemically coloured - the tone is the wood's own.
