Brushed Natural reclaimed boards in T&G profile line the lounge walls from floor to beam, wrapping the joinery bay and the framed map wall in a single warm brown field.

Brushing lifts the weathering without erasing it, so saw marks and old nail holes stay legible while the underlying grain warms the room against pale concrete floors and the cool grey of the stone chimney.

Full-height glazing along one side puts the lining under changing daylight through the day; the raised grain keeps a soft relief so the surface never flattens into a single tone.
